Parkside Players Profiles

I became a Parkside Player in 1990 afer being very impressed watching one of their productions. I had long wanted to become involved in amateur dramatics but had been very busy before that bringinig u pmy family. Litle did I know that many years later I would still be getting the same pleasure and wnjoyment from being part of such an exciting and friendly group.

My first 'on stage' experience was a small part in the christmas pantomime and over the years I have been involved in different ways in mant productions, from being Sound Effects Person to Director. All have been fun, and the Parkside Family have become very good friends.

I was delighted in 1999 to recieve the Best Actress Award at the Felixstowe Festival playing Ruth Condomine in Noel Coward's 'Blithe Spirit' and also to be mentioned for that category again in 2002 for a pert in 'The Odd Couple' (feamle version). I have also beeen mentioned in the Best Supporting Role category for a part in 'Rough Justice' in 2004.
